Gary Pettis to Third, Dave Anderson to First

To capitalize on the base-running expertise of Gary Pettis, the Rangers have decided to make him the third base coach and move Dave Anderson to first base.  The Rangers had some pretty big issues with base-running this year.  Last I checked, Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus were 1st and 2nd in the league in getting picked off, and the stolen base numbers were down.  The Rangers think moving Pettis to third will improve their chances on the base paths.
Other than Scott Coolbaugh, who was replaced by Dave Magadan, the rest of the Rangers coaches will return and stay in their current jobs.
